Pre-marital Counseling

Are you engaged to be married or intentionally dating with the purpose of marriage in mind? If so, then sign up for us for PT’s Premarital Counseling sessions! Topics include communication, financial management, conflict resolution and more. If you’re interested and want more information, let us know!
This dynamic three-part class will take place from 8:30am to 12:00pm starting February 24th, followed by March 9th and 23rd.
COST
$75 per couple (Premarital Preparation)
$35 per couple (Couples Inventory)*
* Each couple must complete the Prepare/Enrich inventory. A link to the inventory will be provided after the couples registers.
Our goals for the class are to:
- Explore strength and growth areas
- Strengthen communication skills
- Identify and manage major stressors
- Resolve conflicts using the Ten-Step Model
- Develop a more balanced relationship using Couple and Family Maps
- Understand personality differences and maximize teamwork
In addition, couples will be provided with information to address the following areas of their current relationship or future as husband and wife:
- Financial Management
- Preparing for the future: short and long term goals
- Leisure activities
- Sex and affection
- Children and parenting
- Spiritual beliefs
After the class each couple will be scheduled for a private session with a minister and their spouse to address issues germane to them. The couple will also be provided time to ask questions.
