Salvation

Have you come to know Jesus as your Savior and Lord?

From the Bible, we learn that all people have sinned. That is, we have all said and done things that have grieved God’s heart and that have separated us from God, who is holy and without sin.

However, the Bible also teaches us that God is love, and that His love for us is perfect! He has made a way for us to have a relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. God did the unthinkable in sending Jesus to take our judgement upon Himself in death. In Jesus’ death on the cross, Jesus took God’s punishment for sin in our place. God then raised Him from the dead so that we might live forever with Him!

If we now accept Jesus’ death on our behalf, our sins will be forgiven, and we can begin a brand new, eternal life with God! The Bible refers to this as “salvation.” God makes this powerful transformation available to us when we simply respond to His offer. No complicated steps!

Here’s what the Bible tells us in the Book of Romans chapter 10, verses 9-13: we need to believe that God did raise Jesus from the dead, and verbally acknowledge Jesus as the Lord – the one in charge – of our own lives.

I John 4:10 This is real love – not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
